Align Studio is a Functional Yoga Studio founded to achieve the goal of offering high-quality yoga classes to a broad public while keeping a safe, intimate and fun atmosphere. Rooted in the rich tradition of yoga, we also aim to stay abreast of the current research-based approach to functional anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology to build a more sustainable and holistic practice for life. In Align Studio, we believe everybody is different and no style is perfect. That is why we offer different genre of movement practices that are complementary. Our approach is to educate our students to know their bodies, empower them with the knowledge and tools to move better and live better.

Meet Our Teachers

Born and raised in the foothills of the Himalayas, Gajju comes from a family of yogis. Precision (alignment) in postures and movement-with-breath are the cornerstones of Gajju's teaching. His classes are flowing and challenging, with an underlying focus on practicing safely and mindfully.

Yvonne is a Functional Movement Instructor. She is passionate about helping people live their best life! Yvonne’s classes are fun and playful but with the intention of empowering her students to carry their yoga practice off the mat and into their daily lives.

Viru believes that yoga is a holistic system which can help to increase energy, develop light and flexible body with improved posture and breathing. Viru likes the use of yoga props as they tend to give more stability and support to the students during practice so that they are able to hold a pose longer and can improve form and breathing.

Nicole is a movement therapist equipped as a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist and Kinstretch Level 1 Instructor.  In her classes, students of all levels will get to discover what works for them and therefore develop their own practice and carry this forward into their day to day lives.
